Peter Harsy

Peter Harsy focuses his practice on energy related transactions along with various other types of corporate matters faced by investors, founders, operators and managers of both growth stage companies and well-established institutions.

Most recently, Peter served as General Counsel of Lincoln Clean Energy, where he worked for approximately 7 years on Lincoln’s development, construction, financing and operation of utility scale clean energy projects. Peter was intimately involved with managing the operations side of the business (e.g. capital raises, distributions, human resources, corporate organizational and compliance matters, etc.) as it grew from a startup company to a successful long-term business that was acquired by a multibillion dollar private equity company.

Prior to joining Lincoln Clean Energy, Peter worked for several years as Assistant Counsel at The Inland Real Estate Group, Inc. where he represented clients in a wide range of transactions including multimillion dollar acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures and real estate developments.

Peter has participated on several energy related panel presentations and is part of the planning committee for the University of Texas Renewable Energy Law Conference. Peter obtained a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Diego. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and in the State of New York.
